Residencies/Workshops

Jeannette will facilitate a multi-day hands on instructional mosaic residency for large mosaics and/or large number of participants. Ideal choice for school or group mosaics. Design ideas may be developed as part of the program, depending on time allowance. Jeannette has experience coordinating projects for groups up to 600 students, ages preschool to middle school, teen and adult groups. Residencies can integrate with curriculum needs, specifically in math, science, history and art. Introduction includes historical and multicultural examples of mosaic art as well as terms, methods, and modern examples.

Jeannette will lead one or two day programs to suit your budget and ideas, typically small simple mosaic projects, and smaller number of participants. Some examples of projects include mosaic pendant workshop, paper mosaics, or working on a standard 3/4 tile grid to make patterns in tile. Projects can be suited for any age group, and ability.

Jeannette has successfully completed over 200 mosaic residencies and workshops since 2009. She is known and endorsed by the Arts Council of North Carolina, Artist In Schools Wake County, and CAPS in Durham. References can be provided. Pricing varies depending on design/materials choices, size of work, number of participants/sessions, travel, and installation/construction needs.
